Practical support to save you time and energy
Your future clients have waited long enough
Meet Beth Vincent, PhD, LCMHC-QS
North Carolina counselor educator, clinician, and qualified clinical supervisor helping new counselors navigate licensure, supervision, and the transition into professional practice.
If you're reading this, chances are you’re nearing graduation or freshly into the next chapter of your counseling journey. So first, truly: congratulations. That’s no small thing. You’ve made it through the coursework, the hours, the growth, and the self-reflection it takes to get here. I’ve been there too, and I remember how exciting and overwhelming this moment can be.
I’m a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and counselor educator, and my work centers on helping new counselors navigate the transition from graduate school to full professional practice. Over the past decade, I’ve taught and supervised hundreds of students across CACREP-accredited programs, supported them in finding field placements, prepped them for licensure, and helped them figure out where and how they want to show up in the field.
Why I Created LaunchWell…
LaunchWell came from a pattern I saw over and over again: brilliant, compassionate students unsure how to transition out of their degree programs and find meaningful work.
Licensure applications, job search materials, finding & evaluating jobs, selecting a supervisor, navigating LCMHCA licensure… These things are complicated. The systems take time to learn and patience to navigate. I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned to help new graduates clearly and practically, saving them time and reducing stress along the way.

My Approach
Practical. Clear. Specific. Supportive. Empowering. Simple.
When it comes to navigating LCMHCA licensure and early career decisions, you don’t have time or energy for answers like, “It depends.” You need support and resources that get to the point and save you the steps of Google searching, asking around, and making it up as you go.
Whether you’re navigating the LCMHCA licensure process, clinical supervision, your first counseling job, or the realities of early-career practice, my approach is practical, clear, and specific. My goal is to help you understand your options, feel more confident making decisions, and know what to do next. That philosophy guides everything I create at LaunchWell. From educational resources and clinical supervision to the guidance I share with new counselors each week.
